The overall job searching process with aimHigher has been excellent to me. The consultant who follows this case, first approached me for this opportunity. I think this does show aimHigher’s ability to sort possible candidates out of its own ‘potential candidates’ pool – and is an important strength in my opinion. I am glad that I eventually managed to get the job despite being a bit under qualified – here I think the help from the consultant was the key, in particular her specific interview tips against different interviewers were very helpful. In my opinion, this understanding of your clients (not only in terms of client needs but also the style of their representatives) is an important asset of aimHigher.
Your communication with me is great as well. Whether it is notification/ instruction emails/ calls from your consultants, or follow up/ resignation tips, aimHigher’s communication with me as a candidate has been clear. Personally I think the intensity of such communication is right at the point – not too little yet not too much. But I know this is a very subjective feeling and the fact that we have maintained a good relationship prior definitely plays a role here. But as a candidate I think this intensity/ level of communication is adequate. Neither consultants have been pushy to me as well.
Overall, I really had a great experience with aimHigher and am very thankful. From a business point of view, I would say aimHigher’s relationship with and understanding to their clients and (potential) candidates are two important things that differentiate aimHigher from other HR consultants (especially those pushy ones who only wish to get the deals done w/o actually knowing the candidates’ and clients’ needs)
